Blairgowrie & East Perthshire Tourist Association (BEPTA) is a voluntary association of businesses and individuals interested in developing and promoting tourism in Blairgowrie & East Perthshire and surrounding areas.  We have over 110 members ranging from accommodation providers to activity specialists, places to eat to retail outlets.

We work closely with several public agencies in the local area including:

• Perth & Kinross Council
• VisitScotland
• Perth & Kinross Countryside Trust
• Glenshee Tourist Association

Membership Benefits:

Marketing: Members of BEPTA have access to a range of free and/or low cost marketing opportunities (pleae note. for some marketing activities accommodation providers may be required to hold a relevant quality assurance award)

Networking Opportunities: BEPTA organises a range of networking events throughout the year providing members with the opportunity to meet with, and learn from other tourism businesses in the area.

Representation: BEPTA is recognised by organisations such as Perth & Kinross Council, VisitScotland and Perth and Kintoss Countryside Trust as their lead partner for tourism development and marketing in the East Perthshire area. This puts BEPTA with the platform to seek to influence and develop tourism policy.

Industry News: BEPTA regularly provides news updates and newsletters updating the tourism sector in East Perthshire on issues of benefit to individual businesses.

Supporting Tourism Locally: Work with BEPTA and help us grow and develop tourism in the area, BEPTA is involved in a number of projects including:

• Organising and financially supoprting summer Pipe Band Concerts throughout the area
• Providing financial support to Event Organisers in the area
• Improving infrasturcture e.g. townscape improvements, signage and footpaths.
