PEEL Heritage brings the classic equine tale to life this summer in stylish and modern theatrical adaptation.
One of the best-selling novels of all time and groundbreaking in its day, this timeless story will be brought to the grounds of stately home across the UK in 2012. As told through the eyes of the stallion, the story follows Black Beauty’s life as a workhorse in the 19th century – from his carefree days on a country farm to a more gruelling existence pulling cabs in London, and his dark days down the mine.
‘Black Beauty’ is suitable for ages 6 to 80+. The production runs for 2 hours, with a 15-20 minute interval.
